Job summary

Monks in the United States is seeking an Associate Creative Director to drive high‑level creative execution. You will translate strategy into tangible, production‑ready work while mentoring senior and junior creatives and championing AI‑enabled workflows.

You will lead by doing with hands‑on work in Figma and Adobe CS, integrate GenAI into daily practice, and push for impactful campaigns across digital platforms, brand campaigns, and social ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive creative experience in a top-tier agency or tech-forward environment.
• Portfolio demonstrates work across digital platforms, interactive experiences, brand campaigns, and social ecosystems.
• Hands-on GenAI experience; ability to teach prompting and iteration.
• Strong communication and delegation; can mentor junior team without taking over.
• Maker mindset: proactive, resilient, and craft-focused.

Responsibilities

• Translate vision into actionable sprints and deliverables.
• Ensure the integrity of the idea through production and details.
• Contribute big ideas and help pitch them internally and externally.
• The Strongest Practitioner: lead by doing with tools like Figma and Adobe CS.
• Tech-Enabled Craft: leverage platforms and emerging tech to prove ideas.
• Operationalize AI: daily GenAI integration for ideation, mood boards, asset generation, and copy.
• Iterate at speed to move from concept to prototype swiftly.
• Guide the Makers: mentor designers, writers, and art directors for growth.
• Manage the micro: collaborate with Producers and PMs to deliver on time and budget.
