You will draft and negotiate development, licensing, and services agreements, advise on IP hygiene and vendor strategies, and help develop internal policies and trainings to scale operations globally.

The role requires 2+ years of legal experience, a J.D.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing business-line counseling to infrastructure engineering and supply chain teams to enable the development, manufacture, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure technology globally for our customers.
• Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and technology-related agreements, including development, supply, manufacturing services, software licensing, services, and other bespoke agreements.
• Supporting and directly advising business partners on legal, commercial, operational, and other risks.
• Developing, advising on, and implementing with the business vendor engagement, contractual, and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to identify and resolve commercial, operational, compliance, regulatory, security, safety, legal, and customer/vendor issues.
