Job summary

Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) in Houston is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage crude oil purchase/sale transactions and contract generation.

You will ensure accuracy in contract terms, coordinate with counterparties, traders and risk management, and maintain documentation while adhering to compliance policies and timelines. A BBA or BS is required, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter crude oil purchase/sale transactions into the Contract System accurately.
• Generate crude oil purchase/sale contracts to send to third parties.
• Review and confirm commercial terms of physical trades with third parties.
• Compare third party contracts and broker recap details to internal deal recaps.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies upon contract review.
• Adhere to Risk Control guidelines for contract timelines.
• Generate contract exception reports for Risk Management.
• Log, track, and maintain all contract correspondence.

Job Type: Regular Plains is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil. We own an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets in key oil producing basins and transportation corridors and at major market hubs in the United States and Canada. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately entering crude oil purchase/sale transactions into the Contract System
• Generate crude oil purchase/sale contracts to be sent to third parties
• Review and confirm the commercial terms of physical trades with third parties
• Compare third party contracts and broker recap details to internal deal recaps
• Identify and investigate any discrepancies discovered upon contract review
• Adhere to, and understand Risk Control corporate guidelines for contract timelines
• Generate contract exception reports for Risk Management
• Log, track, and maintain all contract correspondence

Skills
