The Associate Contract Administrator will support the Legal Contracts Area. This is a fast paced, creative working environment that requires the ability to multitask with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The Associate Contract Administrator will be responsible for preparing department reports, maintain contract system, manage work queue for the team and various other tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute various department reporting with close attention to detail for accuracy and insight to staff, partnering internal departments and executive management
  • Maintain integrity of information in the contract system, including responsibility for the creation and maintenance of customer records, management of staff assignments, SOT dates and termination of records
  • Managing recurring projects on varying timelines with the flexibility to take on additional ad hoc work as needed
  • Manage team SharePoint sites and contact list
  • Participate in special projects/assignments as required

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of work or internship experience
  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of work
  • Demonstrated project management, analysis and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in health care insurance with proficiency in business operations
  • Ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment, within tight deadlines while quickly shifting priorities, serving multiple customers and managing multiple assignments
  • Clear and honest communication practices; ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability in expressing ideas to build consensus
  • Ability to work well independently utilizing good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentations skills
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy

The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
