Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. seeks a litigation associate for the Dallas office to join a cohesive Litigation team. The role offers exposure to a prestigious client base and opportunities to work with shareholders, participate in business development, and provide outstanding client service.

The candidate will have 4–7 years in complex commercial litigation, strong research/writing skills, and may have energy regulatory experience. Texas bar admission or progress toward it is required.

• Experience in case management; lead oral arguments and depositions preferred.
• Energy litigation or energy regulatory exposure is a plus.
• J.D. degree and strong academic credentials.

We have an exciting opportunity for a litigation associate to join the Litigation team in our Dallas office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. About You

• You have 4-7 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including very strong research, writing and advocacy writing skills;
• You have case management experience, and ideally have taken the lead in oral arguments, taken/defended depositions, and have significant party and third-party discovery experience;
• You have energy litigation and/or energy regulatory experience;
• You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials;
• And you are admitted (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in Texas.

Compensation

• $230,000 - $265,000 annual base salary
