Job summary

Aon is seeking an Associate Compensation Consultant to join its Employee Rewards advisory practice in Boston, with additional locations nationwide. The role focuses on market data, analysis, and practical consulting to support compensation projects across industries.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. You will help deliver job architecture, market benchmarking, and salary structure work while collaborating with client teams to translate data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1–3 years of human resources, compensation consulting and/or relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate proactively and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support deliverables for small-to-medium-sized projects or defined workstreams within larger engagements.
• Develop client-ready deliverables that synthesize complex information.
• Assist with compensation design, job architecture, salary structure development, and cost modeling.
• Review methodology, analysis, and outputs across projects.
• Act as a resource among engagement leaders, teams, and clients to support communication and execution.
• Develop reports and presentations that communicate findings, methodologies, implications, and recommendations.
