Job summary

Aon is seeking an Associate Compensation Consultant to join our Employee Rewards advisory practice in Boston, with opportunities to work with teams in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and other major offices.

You will support compensation design, job architecture, market benchmarking, and salary structure development, applying market data and analytical insight in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of human resources, compensation consulting and/or relevant experience.
• Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and clearly articulate the "so what".
• Ability to build complex Excel workbooks and develop insights that support project objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate proactively, clearly, and transparently with a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support deliverables for small-to-medium-sized projects or defined workstreams within larger engagements.
• Develop high-quality, client-ready deliverables that synthesize and interpret complex information beyond templates.
• Support and complete compensation design, job architecture, job evaluation, salary structure development, and impact analysis.
• Review and take accountability for methodology, analysis, and outputs across staffed projects.
• Serve as a key resource among engagement leaders, project teams, and clients to support effective communication and execution.
• Develop reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
