Job Title: Associate Commercial Real Estate Attorney (Entry to Mid-Level)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

We are a boutique law firm based in Manhattan, handling a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions, and we are seeking an entry to mid-level attorney to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, where you will receive direct mentorship while also having meaningful client contact and the ability to take ownership of substantive work. You will be involved in all aspects of transactions, gaining the skills and experience needed to grow as a commercial real estate attorney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, entity formation and governing documents, and other commercial real estate agreements.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, commercial lease abstracting, and other real estate-related research.
• Assist clients with real estate financing, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and transaction structuring.
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other third parties in closing transactions.

Qualifications:

️ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

️ Admitted to practice law in New York.

️ 0-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.

️ Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

️ Ability to work independently in a small firm environment while managing multiple transactions and deadlines.

️ Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
