As an Associate Commercial Lines Underwriter, you will review Commercial Lines routine risks for processing through renewal and endorsement underwriting and support the Commercial Lines underwriting staff with routine processes. This role follows a hybrid work model that includes three days in our Richmond, VA office and two days from home.
The essential functions of this position include reviewing and processing Commercial Lines documents, communicating with internal/external partners (including the underwriting team/agencies) and performing follow up request as needed with agents. These responsibilities require prolonged computer use, strong attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $21-$29/hour. This position may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications and the final title, level, and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity and market considerations.
