Job summary

Belto Inc. is seeking a remote associate to contribute to cloud infrastructure and software delivery. You will work with a distributed team, applying IaC, building fast CI/CD pipelines, and establishing meaningful logging and alerts for reliable operations.

The role requires scripting ability in Python, Go, or Bash and a pragmatic, well-documented approach. Strong collaboration with delivery colleagues is essential, with emphasis on secure defaults and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud and Linux fundamentals.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code and containers.
• Scripting ability in Python, Go or Bash.
• Methodical habits and clear written handover.
• Currently enrolled at, or holding a degree from, Stanford University or Harvard University.

• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure as code, never by console clicking.
• Build CI and CD pipelines and keep them fast and trustworthy.
• Set up logging, metrics and alerts that mean something at 3am.
• Apply least-privilege access and document what you changed.
• Support incident response and write the follow-up notes.

You will work with a distributed team on consequential client and internal priorities.The work combines hands-on delivery, architecture decisions, peer review, documentation and direct collaboration with commercial and delivery colleagues. We value clear reasoning, secure defaults and systems that remain understandable as they scale.Success means improving the quality and speed of decisions, leaving durable operating assets, and communicating trade-offs before they become surprises. The selection process includes a structured conversation and a practical, role-relevant exercise. We do not use protected personal characteristics in hiring decisions.
