Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a highly organized professional to join our client's team in New York. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial data and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle operational tasks, work with portfolio systems, and collaborate with custodians to support loan and CLO activities. This position offers exposure to independent work and cross-functional coordination in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within alternative asset management.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products and bank loans.
• Experience with CLOs and loan operations preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of various operations and accounting related systems; experience with a Security Master preferred.
• Experience using IVP products, FIS VPM accounting system, S&P-MarkitWSO or Bloomberg a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process corporate action activity on underlying portfolio positions.
• Enter trade and security data into portfolio management systems (OMS SkyRoad) and VPM.
• Support trade processing from Trade date to Settle date for Syndicated Bank Loans (ClearPar).
• Liaise with firm custodians and prime brokers to ensure proper trading activity and settlement.
• Manage CLO Warehouse fund finance and cash management processing.
• Review and document Loan Closing packages and deal Credit Agreements.
• Assist with CLO audit queries and regulatory reporting.
• Engage in daily interaction with internal and external groups to troubleshoot discrepancies.

• Strong understanding of fixed income products and bank loans
• Experience with Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and loan operations preferred
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of various operations and accounting related systems; experience with a Security Master preferred
• Experience using Indus Valley Partners (IVP) products, FIS VPM accounting system, S&P-MarkitWSO or Bloomberg a plus
