Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking an Associate Clinical Supervisor in Albuquerque to oversee 2–6 counselors across multiple offices and carry a caseload of 4–6 groups. The role reports to the Clinical Director and drives quality care and clinical program initiatives.

The position offers $80,000–$95,000 annually with a Mon-Thu 9a–7p schedule (PST). Licensure (LCSW/LMHC) and strong leadership skills are required to supervise teams, ensure compliance, and support new location launches.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license such as LCSW or LMHC.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health.
• Proven experience leading, supervising, developing, hiring, and evaluating clinical teams.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the local addiction treatment landscape and stakeholders.
• Healthcare operations experience; multi-site preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach 6-10 counselors across multiple offices, providing supervision and support with complex cases.
• Carry caseload of weekly Group Therapy sessions.
• Conduct individual and group supervision, observe counseling services, and provide performance coaching to strengthen clinical skills and outcomes.
• Monitor clinical documentation, chart reviews, KPIs, and quality goals, providing training and support when needed.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and performance management for clinical staff.
• Partner with State, Regional, Clinical, Quality & Compliance, and operational leaders to support high-quality care and day-to-day operations.
• Implement clinical protocols and initiatives; support audits, licensing, accreditation, and other quality and compliance requirements.
• Support new location launches, community outreach, and relationships with local partners.
• Provide counselor coverage or direct clinical services when needed and collaborate with providers and the Regional Medical Director.
• Represent Groups at meetings and events as a clinical leader and perform other duties as assigned.

At Groups, the Associate Clinical Supervisor will play a key role in our organization by supporting the delivery of high-quality care. You will be responsible for achieving quality goals and for helping to implement new clinical protocols and initiatives. You will serve as a role model, reflecting the organization’s treatment philosophy, goals and policies to colleagues and members. The Associate Clinical Supervisor will manage a team of 2-6 counselors across multiple offices and will carry a caseload of 4-6 groups. This role reports to the Clinical Director.

Pay: $80,000 - $95,000

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local addiction treatment landscape, including treatment providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Healthcare operations experience; experience in a multi-site healthcare services organization is strongly preferred .
• Interest in expanding your impact beyond direct clinical care into broader leadership and operational responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel up to 50%
