Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator for a full-time day schedule.

The role involves coordinating regulatory activities, IRB submissions, participant screening, informed consent, and ensuring protocol adherence under GCP guidelines. The position works under the supervision of the Clinical Trials Manager in a busy heart and vascular research program, with opportunities for growth and professional development within Providence’s

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree with healthcare, science or research coursework or equivalent education/experience
  • 1 year healthcare-related experience or equivalent education/experience
  • Driving may be necessary; provide driver license and auto insurance upon request
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain regulatory activities for clinical trials
  • Submit and report IRB activities and ongoing IRB reporting responsibilities
  • Screen and recruit study subjects and obtain informed consent
  • Ensure protocol adherence for required study procedures and CRF completion
  • Coordinate study activities with investigators, staff and sponsor representatives
  • Maintain study materials, documents and regulatory compliance per GCP

Associate Clinical Research Coordinator at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center- Full-Time, Day Schedule

The Clinical Research Coordinator I will function under the supervision of the Clinical Trials Manager. Coordinates and maintains diverse activities in the conduct of clinical research trials related to heart and vascular research. This includes, but is not limited to: coordinating and maintaining regulatory activities, IRB submissions and ongoing IRB reporting responsibilities, screening and recruitment of study subjects, obtaining informed consent from subjects, assuring protocol adherence for required study procedures, timely and accurate completion of case report forms and related study documentation, coordination of study activities with Investigators, associated departments, staff and sponsor representatives, ongoing maintenance of all study materials, products and documents. All study related activities will be conducted in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations - Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with courses related to healthcare, science or research or
  • Associate's degree with courses related to healthcare, science or research or equivalent education/experience or 1 year healthcare related experience
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
  • 1 year experience in healthcare related field with strong knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with clinical research
