Job summary

Hylant invites you to join the Associate Client Executive (ACE) Training & Development Program in Raleigh, NC. You will undergo a robust curriculum of insurance knowledge and core sales skills to prepare for a Commercial Property & Casualty Client Executive role.

In this role you will support senior staff, prepare client materials, and analyze coverage options while building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License, or ability to obtain within 50 days of employment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding and adoption of Hylant sales tools and processes.
• Assist in client preparation work such as creating presentations and proposals.
• Support senior staff in solicitation and servicing of clients and prospects throughout the deal flow.

The Opportunity:The Associate Client Executive (ACE) will begin their insurance sales training and development journey in Hylant’s ACE Training & Development Program. This program offers a robust curriculum of insurance knowledge and core sales skills and designed to prepare early in career or new to insurance professionals for success in a Commercial Property & Casualty Client Executive role.In This Role You Will Execute On:Develop an understanding and complete adoption of Hylant sales tools and processes.Develop and enhance understanding of Hylant’s servicing tools and processes.Develop and enhance knowledge of the insurance marketplace, products, and services.Develop the ability to present professionally in all elements of client facing (internal and external) including technical writing and verbal presentations.Support senior staff in the solicitation and servicing of clients and prospects throughout the full insurance brokerage deal flow process.Assist with client preparation work such as creating presentations, proposals, etc.Assist in coverage analysis and policy reviews; developing competence to provide options based on determination of client needs.Develop the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with external client contacts and internal Hylant stakeholders.Participate in social and professional networking, charitable events, or other organizations and events that advance the Hylant brand.Perform other duties and special projects as requested.In This Role You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License, or the ability to obtain within 50 days of employment.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Basic analytical skillsExcellent attention to detailException oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environment.Why Hylant?Since 1935, Hylant has been a family‑owned insurance brokerage built on relationships, trust, and a people‑first mindset.
