Castillo Engineering in Maitland, FL, is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to own projects in utility-scale solar and battery storage. You will update marked-up designs in AutoCAD, perform electrical calculations, and help prepare power system studies under mentors.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, interest in renewable energy, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD. Internship or co-op experience and EIT intent are welcomed as we foster learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in renewable energy and solar power.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or similar tools through coursework or internships.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred; EIT or licensure intent encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Assist with engineering design for solar PV and BESS projects.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Support civil, electrical, and structural engineering teams.
• Review surveys, equipment specs, and project inputs.
• Learn permitting, utility requirements, and engineering standards.
