Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an experienced Associate Engineer to join our multi-discipline team in Haddon Heights, NJ. This full-time role focuses on site development, stormwater management, and regulatory coordination for public and private projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering background with 2+ years of relevant experience, FE/EIT, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position offers growth within a collaborative environment and supports a strong ESOP culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering).
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• FE / EIT.
• Experience with land development projects.
• Experience with stormwater management and H&H modeling tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to prepare a site plan package for submission to local jurisdiction(s).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence tasks to determine site development feasibility.
• Prepare site plan development drawings using land survey data.
• Design and detail of site layout, grading, utilities, profiles, etc.
• Design and detail stormwater management, including modeling and calculations.
• Prepare permit applications and engineering reports for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with regulatory agency staff and respond to comments.
• Assist with client coordination and proposal writing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
