Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our Camden, NJ office on a full-time basis. You will support staff and project engineers on diverse site development projects, from concept through permitting, construction documents, and reports.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years of related experience, with familiarity in CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and hydrology/H&H tools. FE/EIT preferred and a strong, collaborative team culture is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering).
• 2+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with land development projects.
• FE / EIT desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to site design initiatives including layout, grading, and utilities.
• Review local ordinances and county/state regulations.
• Perform site evaluations for land development feasibility.
• Assist Design team with CAD for permitting & construction.
• Prepare permit applications and engineering reports documenting compliance.
• Perform design quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
