Job summary

Artheon is seeking an entry-level civil engineer to join our Civil/Municipal team in Cape May Courthouse, NJ. You will build foundational engineering skills across municipal projects, mentored by experienced professionals.

This is a full-time role based in our New Jersey office, offering hands-on design work, site visits, and exposure to stormwater and transportation projects with a clear path for growth and internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or plans to sit for the EIT exam.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to participate confidently in public meetings.
• Demonstrated interest in municipal engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivision and land development applications for compliance with municipal regulations.
• Prepare technical comments, memoranda, and reports for Planning/Zoning Boards.
• Assist with the design of municipal infrastructure including stormwater, roads, and water/wastewater systems.
• Perform field site visits and coordinate with inspectors and contractors.
