Are you an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in building drainage and infrastructure, looking for an opportunity to lead projects, develop client relationships and help grow a team?

We're recruiting for an established engineering consultancy working on a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and developing a team of Civil Engineers and Technicians.


• Managing the technical and financial delivery of projects, including budgets, resources and quality.


• Developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.


• Leading projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.


• Overseeing the design of building drainage and wider infrastructure projects.


• Working with clients, architects and other consultants to develop design solutions.


• Providing technical guidance and supporting the development of colleagues.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering.


• Strong experience in building drainage and infrastructure design.


• Experience across roads, earthworks and utilities.


• Knowledge of underground drainage, including pumped basement drainage.


• Experience with drainage strategies, storm and foul water attenuation, SuDS and flood risk assessments.


• Proficiency in MicroDrainage.


• Proven experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.


• Experience leading teams and contributing to business development.


• Strong communication and commercial skills.
