Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to deliver drainage and highways design on residential and commercial schemes. This remote, part-time role is 20 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate and outside IR35 status.

The successful candidate will work autonomously, handling surface & foul drainage, SuDS, flood risk assessments, and highway adoptables, liaising with LLFAs and Water Authorities through feasibility to technical approval.

Qualificações

• UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Able to commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
• Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development.
• Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals.
• Hands-on and able to work autonomously.

Contract Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage & Highways

Remote

20 Hours per Week

Competitive Hourly Rate (Outside IR35 considered)

A busy civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a part-time contract basis (circa 20 hours per week).

This role will focus primarily on residential and commercial development schemes, with an emphasis on drainage and adoptable highways design.

The Role

• Surface & foul water drainage design
• SuDS strategies and detailed design
• Flood Risk Assessments
• S104 drainage agreements
• S38 & S278 highway design and approvals
• Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities
• Supporting projects from feasibility through to technical approval

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously and delivering compliant, buildable solutions.
