Job summary

A California PE license is valued at higher levels; a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Registration as a California Professional Engineer is preferred for higher levels.
• Public infrastructure experience with water or wastewater is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from concept through construction with minimal oversight.
• Manage projects across water treatment, wastewater, hydroelectric power, and canals.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants; review plans and solve field problems.
• Present work directly to the Board of Directors.
• Work from Placerville headquarters serving a 220-square-mile service area.
