Job summary

Techoundsllc in Riverside, CA is seeking an Associate Water Resources Engineer to join a dynamic civil engineering firm. The role involves planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, with emphasis on hydraulic modeling and coordination across design teams. This is a hybrid position offering growth and collaborative opportunities.

Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 2 years' related experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Two years' experience in related projects.
  • Possession of PE license.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus.
  • Working knowledge of planning and construction documents.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
  • Production of plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
  • Assist in preparation of various engineering reports, including alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water and sewer systems.
  • Coordination of engineering tasks during project construction such as permitting issues, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review.
  • Designing mechanical related projects including pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans.
  • Support multiple design teams and Project Managers.

Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000

Requirements
  • Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and two years' experience in related projects
  • Possession of PE license
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus
  • Working knowledge of planning and construction documents
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects
  • Ability to read, understand, and adapt to local agency standards and communicate with agencies and clients directly and effectively
