Job summary

Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Chief of the Division of Endocrinology to lead strategic, clinical, academic, research and operational initiatives for one of the nation’s premier pediatric endocrinology programs.

The role includes acting as division leader in the Chief's absence and partnering with faculty, trainees, and leadership to advance patient care, education, research and growth across regional and national settings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (M.D.) from an accredited medical school.
• Ability to supervise and mentor clinical professionals and students.
• Commitment to continuing medical education and staying current in subspecialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the Endocrinology division and partner with the Division Chief on strategy.
• Deliver high-quality pediatric endocrine care and improve patient outcomes through collaboration.
• Engage in education, research, and quality improvement activities within CNMC.
