Job summary

Aura Health is seeking an Associate Chemist to support the Toxicology team. You will review, certify, and upload LC/MS data, verify calibration, and quality controls, and ensure accuracy of patient results.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting analytical instruments and maintaining data integrity. You will perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, develop new procedures, interpret data, and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological sciences or Medical Technology with 2+ years laboratory experience or MLS certification.
• Preferred candidates have 3+ months of testing experience and certifications like ASCP or AMT.
• Must demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, computer literacy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility for overtime or shift work.

Responsibilities

• Review, certify, and upload LC/MS data.
• Verify calibration and quality controls and patient results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments (GC, GC-MS, HPLC, UPLC-MS/MS).
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Develop new procedures and interpret data.
• Train and guide technical staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replenish supplies.
