Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives is seeking an Associate Chemist at our Germantown, WI facility. This on-site role supports design plans, raw material qualifications, and new product formulations, collaborating with internal teams and customers.

You will transfer products through commercialization, perform quality analyses, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced adhesives environment. This role offers growth opportunities within KitPackers and Ellsworth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience
• Strong focus on customers and ability to manage difficult situations
• Responds promptly to customer needs and seeks feedback to improve service
• Pursues training to improve technical skills
• Observes safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions
• Demonstrated ability to use lab equipment and materials properly

Responsibilities

• Works with sales force and customers to collect application targets
• Maintains positive customer relationships and commits timelines
• Leads projects with formulation direction from senior team members
• Prepares new product formulations and modifies existing products
• Analyzes products using laboratory instruments and test methods
• Documents plans, processes, and results in electronic lab notebook

This role reports into KitPackers, LLC, an Ellsworth Corporation company, located in Germantown, WI. This is a 100% on-site role at our facility in Germantown.

This role works with internal and external customers to generate design plans and completes raw material qualifications, validates properties of new products, reformulates and supports current products, and creates new product formulations. It also assists with transfer of products through the commercialization process.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with sales force and customers to collect application targets
• Maintains positive customer relationships, creates plans, and commits timelines to customers and sales team
• Leads projects with formulation direction from senior team members
• Prepares new product formulations to the design criteria specified by customers with a primary focus on modifications of existing products
• Analyzes products using laboratory instruments, procedures, and test methods
• Documents all laboratory plans, processes, and results in electronic laboratory notebook
