Qualifications

• Three+ years of ICD-10 coding, coding conventions, and guidelines.
• RN license (BSN) or Medical Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to improve clinical documentation completeness.
• Stay updated on coding trends and Medicare rules affecting diagnosis coding and CDI trends.
• Use ICD-10 resources to investigate coding issues and produce accurate results.
• Communicate with providers daily to obtain documentation specificity and clarifications.
