Job summary

Uline, a family-owned distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking an Associate Category Manager to own a product line, source new vendors, and guide a team of Product Management Analysts.

You will travel to trade shows, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams to improve catalog and digital strategies while boosting profitability and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing.
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.

Responsibilities

• Own your assigned product category from our extensive catalog of business support products.
• Support new product development by researching and sourcing new products and vendors.
• Visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Lead vendor negotiations to build successful partnerships.
• Collaborate with the Creative and Purchasing teams to develop effective catalog and digital strategies.
• Make a direct impact in increasing company profitability, product quality and data accuracy.
• Mentor and support Product Management Analysts to foster their growth.
