Uline, a family-owned company and North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking an Associate Category Manager. You’ll own your product line, manage vendor relationships and guide a team of Product Management Analysts from our Corporate Headquarters.

You’ll travel for trade shows and vendor visits, lead negotiations, and collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams to develop effective catalogs and digital strategies, with a focus on

• 3+ years in Category Management, Supply Chain, or Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own your assigned product category and manage a catalog.
• Research and source products and vendors to support new development.
• Visit vendors and attend trade shows to track industry trends.
• Lead vendor negotiations to build partnerships.
• Collaborate with Creative and Purchasing on catalog strategies.
• Improve profitability, product quality, and data accuracy.

Position Responsibilities

• Own your assigned product category from our extensive catalog of business support products.

• Support new product development by researching and sourcing new products and vendors.

• Visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay ahead of industry trends.

• Lead vendor negotiations to build successful partnerships.

• Collaborate with the Creative and Purchasing teams to develop effective catalog and digital strategies.

• Make a direct impact in increasing company profitability, product quality and data accuracy.

• Mentor and support Product Management Analysts to foster their growth.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing.

• Available to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
