Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of purchasing, supply chain, customer service, planning, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn procurement and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers.
• Follow up on purchase order acknowledgments and delivery commitments.
• Escalate supplier delivery or quality concerns to senior purchasing staff as needed.
• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor open orders and communicate with suppliers regarding shipment status.
• Support pull-in and push-out activities to align deliveries with production requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records within ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Quality and Operations teams regarding supplier issues.
