A large, growing Federal client in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Junior (Associate) Buyer for a full-time, direct hire position. As an Associate Buyer, you will support research initiatives by negotiating vendor contracts, ensuring procurement compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders is essential in this role.

Responsibilities include acquiring specifications (design drawings, SOWs, etc.), sourcing and rationalizing vendors, analyzing quotes, negotiating, and managing requisitions in an eProcurement environment.

• Manage sponsor, subcontractor, and vendor information
• Review and approve material, equipment, and service requests in compliance with Federal regulations and policies

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in procurement/purchasing
• Detail-oriented, organized, and trainable
• ERP system experience (preferred)
