Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and approve requests for materials, equipment, and services in compliance with Federal Government acquisition regulations, university policies, and procedures.
2. Acquire specifications, identify sources, obtain and analyze quotes, negotiate, and track requisitions in an eProcurement environment.
3. Manage sponsor, subcontractor, and vendor information for UDRI.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field OR Associate’s degree in business with 3 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience with ERP and eProcurement systems.
• Understanding of procurement fundamentals.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a low-risk driving record.
• U.S. citizenship due to federal research contract requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint and Jaggaer eProcurement systems.
• Experience in procurement within research, non-profit, or government sectors.
• Certification from the Institute for Supply Management.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
