Job description

Our Associate Brokers directly service a book of business under the supervision of a Broker. Responsibilities :

  • Build agent relationships, find sources of business, and be creative in placing risks and product opportunities
  • Seek opportunities to access new insurance markets and products
  • Use cutting-edge technology to deliver high quality service to agents and agencies
  • Partner with a service-oriented corporate headquarters staff
  • Define and monitor successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior management
  • Be technologically savvy and data driven and develop those capabilities in the branch office team
  • Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract terms
  • Manage relationships with retail agents and branch underwriter / broker producers
  • Monitor competitive climate and, in cooperation with the corporate headquarters
  • Drive consistency and quality in operational processes
  • Find and cultivate brokerage markets
  • Find and build agent relationships to promote business growth
  • Be creative in developing solutions for individual risk placement as well as program business development

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Insurance license preferred

Compensation Package

  • Competitive overall compensation package with base salary ranging from $70,000 - $82,000 annually and discretionary bonus earning potential.
