Job summary

Jones Aur Commercial Real Estate in Memphis is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join our retail brokerage team. The role focuses on building new business, representing landlords and tenants, and guiding transactions from initial contact through closing or lease execution.

Ideal candidates will have active Tennessee real estate licensing or the ability to obtain it, plus knowledge of Memphis retail markets and strong sales, prospecting, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee real estate license or ability to obtain required licensing.
• Commercial real estate experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong sales, prospecting, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and lease structures.
• Knowledge of the Memphis commercial real estate market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new brokerage business throughout the Memphis market.
• Build relationships with property owners, retailers, restaurants, franchisees, developers, investors, and other industry professionals.
• Represent landlords in leasing and positioning retail properties.
• Represent tenants in site selection, market searches, and lease negotiations.
• Prospect for tenants, listings, acquisitions, dispositions, and other opportunities.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, LOIs, lease terms, and other transaction terms.
• Develop strong knowledge of Memphis-area retail submarkets, rental rates, developments, tenant activity, demographics, and trade areas.
• Manage transactions from initial opportunity through lease execution or closing.
• Work alongside the Jones Aur marketing team to position and promote available properties.
• Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat and referral business.

This is a production-oriented role for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating new business opportunities, and helping property owners and tenants navigate commercial real estate transactions from initial contact through closing or lease execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new brokerage business throughout the Memphis market
• Build relationships with property owners, retailers, restaurants, franchisees, developers, investors, and other industry professionals
