Job summary

An leading insurance brokerage in Houston seeks a Broker to supervise a portion of the book of business, prepare submissions, and maintain client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, along with strong sales and organizational skills.   • Prepare submissions for markets and secure quotes
  • Maintain excellent client and agent relationships
  • Assist Brokers to develop and execute marketing plans to drive new and renewal business, including in-person agency visits, telemarketing and distributing marketing materials
  • Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract terms
  • Mentor and train Assistant Brokers as needed
