Job Description:

The primary function of the position is to develop and manage the planning and execution of large Retail Field Sales distribution initiatives and tradeshows that fulfill marketing strategies.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Project Lead for distribution trade shows and events, responsible for delivering prioritized tactics and executions specific to customers.
  • Manage trade show calendar, coordinate with 3rd party vendors, assist in cross-functional planning, and oversee day-of event coordination.
  • Collaborate with external partners to manage rental needs and establish standard operating procedures for distribution trade shows and events.
  • Set project objectives, goals, and timelines; work cross-departmentally to meet milestones and achieve goals.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to inform annual event plans, including booth design and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with sales, brand, channel, and product managers to develop integrated marketing plans (promotions, demonstrations, merchandising) to engage target audiences.
  • Coordinate with the brand team to develop messaging strategies for business awareness and product details at events.
  • Develop and manage event plans within approved budgets, adapting to fluid situations.
  • Gain working knowledge of the tradeshow planning process to distribute workload and responsibilities effectively.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in hardware/home center or industrial distribution channels.
  • Strong analytical, computer, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.
