Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is a certified minority-owned AV-rated law firm that has provided legal services to the banking and mortgage industry, with an emphasis on Judicial State practice, for over 30 years.

The firm concentrates on creditor’s rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and real estate transactions. Our practice serves Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Kentucky.

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional, motivated, and results-oriented Bankruptcy Associate Attorney who has experience in Default Services, Creditor’s Rights, and Bankruptcy.

Please note that this position can be considered a remote work opportunity.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1. Review and sign documents and pleadings.
2. Draft and execute documents and perform legal research.
3. Attend court hearings/matters for bankruptcy cases.
4. Update the firm and clients on state-specific bankruptcy changes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• In good standing with the states of Ohio and Kentucky with current bar membership.
• Admission to the Bankruptcy Courts in Ohio and Kentucky; Indiana is a plus.
• Ability to handle legal issues practically and efficiently.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
