Brock & Scott, PLLC in North Carolina seeks an Associate Attorney to support our legal team through research, drafting, client communication and case management. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced practice and opportunities to develop advocacy skills.

Candidates should have a JD, 0–3 years of experience, and be in good standing with the State Bar. The position is located in the Charlotte area with potential involvement in Asheville as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 0–3 years of legal experience preferred.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar.
• Ability to manage a large caseload with deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review legal files, records, and case-related documentation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and regulations.
• Manage caseload with accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as required.
• Maintain accurate case notes and status updates.
