The Associate Attorney will support the firm's legal practice through legal research, case analysis, drafting legal documents, client communication, and representation in legal proceedings as appropriate. Brock & Scott, PLLC offers an attractive benefit package to full-time employees on the 1st of the following month of hire.The insurance portion includes medical, dental, voluntary life, voluntary vision, and critical illness, all at competitive rates. Atthe 90-day introductory period, the Firm also provides a basic life insurance policy in the amount of one time your annual salary (with a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $200,000.00) at no cost.
Full-time attorneys receive paid holidays, including six (6) firm-recognized holidays and one (1) Day of Observance, as well as a premium PTO package of 18 days per year. PTO accrues monthly and is credited on the 15th of each month, in accordance with firm policy. PTO benefits increase after 2 years of employment and again after 5 years of employment. After six months of service, employees over the age of 21 become eligible to participate in the firm's 401(k) plan at the beginning of the next quarter.
Employment with Brock & Scott, PLLC is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings and verifications, which may include, but are not limited to, a criminal background check, conflict of interest check, employment and education verification (as applicable), and a pre-employment drug screening. Drug testing is conducted only after a conditional offer of employment has been extended and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
