Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks an Associate Attorney for its San Francisco Bay Area office to join a sophisticated plaintiffs' litigation practice. You will work on whistleblower and consumer-protection class actions, handling complex matters and gaining meaningful courtroom experience early in the role.

The candidate will manage substantial portions of litigation, draft pleadings, handle discovery, take depositions, and collaborate with senior trial attorneys in a high-caliber environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of post-bar litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical and legal research skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances, complex discovery and ESI.
• Desire to build a career as a litigator.
• Strong academics and stable employment history.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious and able to work in a demanding litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage substantive portions of complex litigation from early case development through resolution.
• Draft complaints, motions and other significant pleadings.
• Handle written discovery and complex document/ESI matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work with experts and participate in trial preparation.
• Appear in court and develop first- and second-chair litigation experience.
• Collaborate closely with senior trial attorneys and a strong support team.
