Job summary

Littleton Joyce Ughetta & Kelly LLP in Florida is seeking an enthusiastic associate to grow into a well-rounded trial lawyer within a collegial firm. You will work directly with lead trial counsel on catastrophic cases and benefit from mentoring by senior partners.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of litigation experience, active Florida Bar admission, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work from the Florida office as part of a national, complex litigation practice.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of litigation experience (law firm, government, or clerkship).
• Admission to the Florida Bar with active license.
• Capacity to work from the firm’s Florida office.
• Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pleadings and discovery

• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
• Performing legal research and drafting motions and briefs
