Adams & Martin Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its plaintiff personal injury team. The ideal candidate is a motivated attorney who enjoys developing case strategy, solving problems, and advocating for injured clients.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced legal team while taking ownership of cases. You will contribute to the firm's growth by handling matters from intake through resolution, negotiating with insurers, and supervising

Qualifications

• Active Missouri and/or Kansas bar license (both preferred).
• 3–5+ years of legal experience.
• Personal injury experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling client communications, insurance negotiations, and claim resolution.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Desire to learn, grow, and take initiative.
• Ability to work empathetically with clients and collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute case strategies.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers.
• Maintain regular and compassionate communication with clients.
• Review medical records and supporting documentation.
• Supervise paralegals and legal assistants.
• Oversee settlement and lien resolution processes.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution.
