Watts & Associates Recruitment is working with a highly regarded Am Law 100 firm to hire an IP & Technology Litigation Associate in San Francisco, CA. The role offers exposure to high-stakes patent, trade-secret and technology disputes for major corporate clients.

The ideal candidate has approximately 7+ years of IP or complex technology litigation experience, strong research and drafting skills, and admission to the California Bar (or eligibility).

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking an ip & technology litigation associate with:

• Approximately 7+ years of intellectual-property or complex technology litigation experience
• Experience handling patent, trade-secret or technology-related disputes
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Experience drafting substantive motions and briefs
• Strong discovery and case-management fundamentals
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong academic credentials and sophisticated law-firm experience
• Admission to the California Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly

A technical background in electrical engineering, computer science or a related discipline is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary range is $160,000–$375,000, depending on class year, experience, location, qualifications and other relevant factors.
