• Prior music firm experience strongly preferred.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar admission.
• Full-time; in-office Monday through Thursday; Friday remote optional.
• Demonstrated strong experience with negotiating and drafting agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to work under the pressures of fast-paced turnaround times.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with A-list talent, managers, and other representatives.

Responsibilities

• Advise artists, producers, songwriters and other music industry clients across a wide range of matters.
• Draft and negotiate transactions ranging from recording agreements, producer agreements, songwriter agreements, side artist agreements, sync agreements, merchandising agreements, touring agreements, appearance releases, catalog sales and many more.
• Manage a high volume of deal flow and client requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of transactional music law experience.
• Prior music firm experience strongly preferred.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admissionin good standing in California.
• Full-time; in-office Monday through Thursday; Friday remote optional.
