The Role

The successful attorney will support and lead key components of Corporate – M&A / Energy & Infrastructure Associate matters, including:

• Advise sponsors and other market participants on complex acquisitions and divestitures.
• Support and lead joint ventures and other strategic transactions.
• Execute infrastructure M&A matters from bid process through closing.
• Handle project-financing-related components of broader transactions.
• Coordinate across corporate, finance and sector-focused teams.
• Work directly with sophisticated clients across infrastructure, energy, power and renewables.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a candidate with:

• Four to seven years of relevant experience.
• Private equity M&A experience, specifically representing energy and infrastructure sponsors.
• Experience executing complex acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
• Ability to support or lead transaction workstreams through closing.
• Strong interest in cross-disciplinary corporate and project-finance-related work.
• JD required; ideally attained from a T25 law school. Candidates from a T50 law school will also be considered where they achieved honors.

Preferred / advantageous: Experience across a range of infrastructure, energy, power or renewables transactions is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $300,000–$425,000, depending on qualifications and other operational considerations. Comprehensive benefits and bonuses.
