Job summary

LeoForce, headquartered in Central California with a Sacramento presence, seeks an Associate Attorney - Litigation to join its Labor & Employment team. The role focuses on defending employer interests in wage-hour matters, policies, and employee relations across public and private sectors.

You will handle research, drafting, and strategic defense, collaborating across attorneys and HR. The firm offers hybrid work, a competitive base, and robust billables-based bonus prospects.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a defense role, but NOT REQUIRED.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice on complex labor and employment law issues.
• Strong negotiation and representation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Proven commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.

• Stay abreast of changes in labor and employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to management and HR personnel on labor and employment law matters.
• Assist in managing the organization's litigation activities, including budgeting and reporting.
