Job Overview

The ideal candidate will handle a range of legal responsibilities tied to property-related insurance claims and litigation. This role involves active participation in all phases of the litigation process, from initial pleadings through trial preparation and resolution.

Duties

1. Conduct in-depth legal research to support strategic litigation efforts and case development
2. Draft key legal documents, including complaints, motions (MTD, MSJ), and responses
3. Manage and prepare discovery materials, including interrogatories and requests for production
4. Participate in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes
5. Represent clients at hearings and assist with trial preparation
6. Prepare for and conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts
7. Maintain professional and timely communication with clients throughout the litigation lifecycle

Requirements

1. Admission to practice law in the state of Colorado (active and in good standing)
2. Prior experience handling first-party property insurance or related civil litigation
3. Federal court experience strongly preferred
4. Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
5. Ability to manage multiple cases independently and efficiently
6. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication abilities
