  • Develop case strategy with senior attorneys and clients.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.

A well-established civil litigation defense practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its St. Petersburg, Florida team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term litigation practice while working on sophisticated matters involving individuals, businesses, professionals, and insurance carriers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, or insurance defense and be comfortable taking ownership of cases. Attorneys with strong civil litigation backgrounds who are looking to expand into these areas will also be considered.

Job Details
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Florida Bar license and good standing.

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
  • Trial experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
