You will handle residential and commercial matters, draft pleadings, conduct research, and appear in court, negotiating with clients and opposing counsel.

Starting salary is $150,000 per year with health insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off, plus opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience practicing law.
• Active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing.
• Litigation experience required; real estate experience a plus.
• Strong research and writing, with solid advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters, including court appearances, motions, hearings, and trials.
• Manage civil and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
• Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Independently manage assigned matters, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
