Job summary

Regional Insurance Defense Law Firm in Massachusetts is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid role. The attorney will manage a caseload from evaluation to resolution, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and handle depositions and discovery.

The position requires MA admission, a J.D. from an accredited law school, and experience in medmal, products liability, or premises liability.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings.

The annual salary for this position is between 150k-200k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
