Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of legal experience.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of pleadings, court filings, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of legal documents, pleadings, filings, and case materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve legal, procedural, and documentation issues requiring attorney review.
• Perform legal research and provide clear, well-supported analysis and recommendations.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Triage incoming matters and prioritize assignments based on deadlines, complexity, and business needs.
• Support litigation matters throughout the case lifecycle and attend court hearings as required.
• Monitor court deadlines, filings, pleadings, and case-related requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, courts, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, professional judgment, and organization across assigned matters.
